We are so delighted that you are visiting with us through our website. It is our hope that you will find something that interests you. You can watch several of our archived services or our Bible study. There are Bible lessons that children will find beneficial and interesting. If you have attended our Sunday service or you have watched our live stream, we are pleased to tell you about a new feature.
One of the ways that participants in a learning environment are able to gain clarity and have a deeper understanding of what they have heard is through questions based on the subject matter that they have been listening to or have been watching. A sermon is not intended to only inform hearers. The hearers are to apply or practice what they have heard. You will recall that those who heard John the Baptist preaching asked him “What should we do”? Luke 3:10-14. Yes, and the people who listened to Peter’s message on the Day of Pentecost also asked, “What shall we do”? James instructs us that we should not only be hearers of the word but doers, James 1:22.
This new feature we are providing is intended to assist us to reflect more deeply on what we have heard and to make application. These are posted each week. So, whether you attended our church service, or you watched the live stream or a sermon from our archive, please check out the “Going deeper” link. It will take you to the reflection questions based on that sermon you have heard. Since this is a new feature, it will take us some time to develop reflection and application guides for all our previous messages. Perhaps you can help us in getting this done. If after listening to a sermon that has helped you, please send us your suggested questions so we can share them with others. Please do not hesitate to send us an email or call us if you have any question.
If you would like to join others as they reflect weekly, please call our church office at 407-293-2781 or email us at office@metrowestchurch.org and we will recommend a group that you can be a part of.
Again, thank you for visiting our site. If we have not met personally, we look forward to meeting you with the hope that we can share this amazing Journey with Christ together. COVID-19 has caused major disruptions in so many ways.
