Going Deeper: Questions for Reflection and Application on Sermon preached 11/22/20
1. What have you questioned God about and how did He
respond?
2. How do you identify with Habakkuk‘s experience? What are the
challenges, fears, pain, or thoughts that are present during
those times?
3. Why do you think it might be difficult for some people to give
thanks during this year’s thanksgiving season?
4. Using scripture, what would your encouragement be to people
who may be feeling that way?
5. Reread Habakkuk 3:17-19. It can be assumed that it is a song
to God.
Have fun doing one of the following:
1. create a song using the words in the scripture
2. Write a poem encouraging someone in these difficult times
3. State 3 things you’re thankful for in 2020 in spite of its
difficulties.
6. How do you deal with the disappointment of not hearing from
God or not hearing what you want to hear?
