The Following is a List of Ministry Opportunities

CHURCH USHERS/GREETERS MINISTRY: As John the Baptist was a forerunner of the ministry of Jesus Christ, the church usher is a forerunner of  the other ministries in the congregation. The attitude the usher demonstrates in the foyer of the church is a forerunner of the ministry to be experienced in the Sanctuary. At Metro West there are certain characteristics that we look for in a good usher. First, he must be filled with the Holy Spirit, loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, gentle, full of humor, goodness, faithful each week, resourceful, prompt, and an ambassador of kindness. Provides a warm, caring welcome to those who are visitors to Metro West or who need information regarding specific ministries at Metro West. This is accomplished by providing official greeters in the Sanctuary during worship services (two per service). Also the greeters will staff our information booths and be available to escort and direct guests to various locations on the church grounds.
